RAWALPINDI: Three Pakistani soldiers were martyred in cross-border firing on Pak-Afghan border.
According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), terrorists opened fire on Pak Army soldiers across the border in Dewagar district of North Waziristan on the Pak-Afghan border, prompting a full retaliation by the soldiers.
According to ISPR, three Pakistani soldiers were martyred in an exchange of fire with the terrorists.
According to ISPR, the martyrs include Hawaldar Taimoor, Naik Shoaib and soldier Saqib Nawaz.
According to ISPR, Hawaldar Taimoor is 30 years old from Jhelum, soldier Saqib Nawaz is 24 years old from Sialkot and Naik Shoaib is 38 years old from Attock.
ISPR strongly condemns the use of Afghan territory against Pakistan and hopes that the Afghan government will not allow such activities in the future.
ISPR said that Pakistan Army is committed to defend Pakistan's borders against terrorism. The sacrifices of brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
